Christmas story immersed Artek residents into the atmosphere of celebration and magic

In the children’s camp «River» (part of the ICC «Artek»), a quest based on Gogol’s work «Evenings on a farm near Dikanka» was held. The Christmas story, full of adventures and vivid storylines, immersed the people of Artek in an atmosphere of celebration and magic.

The story of the blacksmith Vakula, who was in love with the beautiful Oksana and gave her little slippers to the Empress herself, is known to many. The young teachers of the children’s camp «River» acted as the heroes of the work. Artek residents appreciated the amazing reincarnations of their favorite counselors , — the press service of the Artek ICC reports.

According to the plot of the quest, at each station, the teams had to complete the task from the characters of the work: jump over stones, turn the blanket over without the help of hands, solve riddles … But the main secret of successfully passing into the work and passing through the stages of the game is well-coordinated teamwork. The quest became an important event for the entire camp, it allowed the troops to unite even more.
