Combat crews of missile systems «Bal» and «Bastion» of the Black Sea Fleet conduct exercises in Crimea

Battalions of mobile coastal anti-ship missile systems (BPKRK) «Bal» and «Bastion» of the missile and artillery unit of the Black Sea Fleet made a mechanized march to the Opuk training ground in Crimea.
According to the press service of the Southern Military District, in accordance with the plan for combat training and activities of the fleet forces, combat crews of the BPCRK in the field will conduct a comprehensive tactical and special exercise on the operational delivery of missile strikes using the method of electronic launches against simulators of surface targets.
The main purpose of the planned integrated exercise is to practice the actions of the military personnel of the formation in defending the coast from attacks of a mock enemy. During the event, combat crews will improve the skills of bringing the complexes to battle and meeting the standard for changing starting positions with repeated missile strikes from a new positional area , the message says.
In total, about 50 units of military and special equipment are involved in the exercise.
