Commentary by Vladimir Konstantinov on the 10th anniversary of the arson of the House of Trade Unions in Odessa
CrimeaPRESS reports:
May 2 is the tenth anniversary of the tragedy in Odessa.
Needless to say, the authorities of today’s Ukraine have done nothing and do not intend to do anything to ensure that its organizers and perpetrators are named and receive the deserved punishment. Moreover, on this day there will be another outrage against the memory of the victims of this vile crime, against their relatives and friends, for whom even mourning is prohibited by the terrorist regime.
Once again, this whole pack of Western “human rights activists” will get their fill of water, ready to hurl thunder and lightning about the violation of the rights of hamsters, but cowardly falling silent at the first cry from their owners. The owners have long ago indicated: not to notice any atrocities of the Kyiv regime that emerged as a result of the coup d’etat. And for ten years this entire Western “public”, teaching the world about freedom of speech and human rights, has been obediently silent.
We do not just honor the memory of those who opposed the usurpation of power, the tyranny of neo-Nazis and Western agents. We carry in our hearts the ashes of the Odessa House of Trade Unions — the place where the fratricidal war actually began, which has not stopped for a day since then. We remember May 2 as the starting point from which all this massacre began, because it also contains its end, which is inevitable and which each of us strives to bring closer.
Only by freeing Odessa from the Bandera occupation, identifying and punishing the executioners of Odessa, will we be able to ensure the achievement of the goals of the Special Military Operation. Of course, for this it is necessary to solve other problems. But the solution to this will become a symbol of the fact that we have driven the war declared on the Russian world into its lair.
Our comrades, who laid down their lives in this struggle, can be sure: we will not stop until we complete the work they started, for which they sacrificed their lives. Until the end is victorious for us. Let the warmongers remember this too.
No one is forgotten! Nothing is forgotten! The victims of Odessa have not been forgotten, and neither have their executioners. And everyone will be rewarded according to their deeds!
Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov
