CrimeaPRESS reports:

Crimea will be able to accept about 190 thousand children for rehabilitation.

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, took part in a meeting on organizing summer holidays for children under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova. It is reported that this year the number of children enrolled in organized forms of recreation is expected to increase compared to previous figures.

During the 2024 summer health campaign, it is planned to send more than 5.3 million children to organize recreation and recreation, which is 100 thousand more than a year earlier. The number of organizations involved will also increase and amount to 39.7 thousand. The total amount of funding planned for organizing recreation and health care for children in 2024 is more than 76.8 billion rubles, which is 11.6% more than last year— said Tatyana Golikova.

About 327 thousand children will be able to relax on the coast of the Black and Azov Seas this year. In addition, this year all children’s camps will have thematic sessions and events dedicated to the Year of the Family declared by President Vladimir Putin and the promotion of traditional family values.

Sergey Aksyonov informed that during the summer health campaign of 2024, 36 recreation and health organizations will operate in the Republic of Crimea, which will be able to accommodate 19 thousand children in one shift.

In general, this year Crimean children’s camps will accept about 190 thousand children for health improvement within the framework of the republican program. First of all, these are children of military personnel participating in a special military operation, orphans, children registered with commissions for minors, children from large and low-income families, disabled children and those with limited health capabilities. The total coverage will be 75% of school-age children— reported the Head of the Republic, noting that the amount of funding provided for these purposes will amount to 1.5 billion rubles.

Sergei Aksyonov added that this year Crimea became a participant in the competition to receive a subsidy in the amount of 117 million rubles. Thanks to these funds, four new modular residential buildings were installed in the republic, which can accommodate 200 more children per shift.

As the Head of Crimea emphasized, the Republic’s readiness for the summer health campaign by June 1 will be almost 100%.
