Consequences of bad weather: three roads remain damaged in Crimea

In Crimea, a quarter of regional and local roads remain to be repaired from all those damaged due to hurricane winds and flooding. This was announced by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev.

Work continues to restore roads of both regional and local importance. Of the 13 previously damaged areas, only three remain: in the village of Morskoye (Sudak urban district), Primorsky (Feodosia urban district), in the village of Chelyadinovo — the village of Zavetnoye (Leninsky district). The sand mixture has been removed from the roads. Access is provided in all areasnoted the Minister of Emergency Situations.

Of the 823 damaged roofs of houses, 54 have already been repaired, 51 are in progress. Housing and communal services and the Ministry of Emergency Situations also removed 1,750 fallen trees.

Let us remind you that in Crimea a state of emergency has been introduced in the territory of 15 municipalities: Dzhankoy, Evpatoria, Alushta, Yalta, Saki, Simferopol, Krasnogvardeisky district, Krasnoperekopsky district, Saki district, Simferopol district, Belogorsky district, Sovetsky district, Nizhnegorsky district, Chernomorsky district, Dzhankoysky area. A state of emergency threat has been introduced on the territory of three municipalities: Sudak, Pervomaisky district, Bakhchisarai district.

Efforts to establish the damage are ongoing. The situation is under strict control of the government of the Republic of Crimea.
