In Sevastopol, at the initiative of the prosecutor’s office, a contracting organization was fined 5 million rubles for violating the deadlines for fulfilling a state contract.
The prosecutor’s office of the Leninsky district of the city of Sevastopol checked the implementation of the legislation on the contract system in the field of procurement of goods, works, services to meet state and municipal needs. It was established that in September 2021 of the year, within the framework of the state program «Development of the housing and communal infrastructure of the city of Sevastopol», a state contract for the repair and improvement of the pedestrian network of the Leninsky district of Sevastopol, worth 17, 4 million rubles. In accordance with the terms of the contract, the contractor assumed the obligation to carry out construction and installation work on the street. Lyudmila Pavlichenko, Silnikova descent, st. Marata, st. Drozdova, st. Volodarsky, Trolleybus descent and on Krasny descent in Sevastopol until 15 December 17 of the year. However, as of the indicated date, the work by the contractor has been completed by less than half, — the press service of the prosecutor’s office reported.
The prosecutor’s office of the district in relation to JSC «Sevastopolstroyproekt» initiated an administrative offense case under part 7 of Art. 7. 32 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (actions (inaction) that resulted in the failure to fulfill obligations under the contract for the supply of goods, performance of work, provision of services for the needs of customers, with causing significant harm to the legally protected interests of society and states, if such actions (inaction) do not entail criminal liability).
The magistrate of the court district No. 12 of the Leninsky judicial district of the city of Sevastopol fined the guilty legal entity for 5 million rubles. The court ruling has not entered into force. Full fulfillment of obligations under the concluded contract is controlled by the prosecutor’s office.
