Court decisions in Sevastopol: there are medical contraindications — you should not have a driver’s license
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The prosecutor’s office of the Leninsky district of Sevastopol checked compliance with the requirements of federal legislation on road safety.
During the inspection, persons with medical contraindications to driving vehicles were compared with lists of citizens holding driver’s licenses in the district. It was established that a 48-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, who have a driver’s license of categories “B”, “B1”, “M”, are registered with a psychiatrist in connection with mental and behavioral disorders. This circumstance creates a threat to the safety of road users and is a medical contraindication to driving vehicles, — the department’s press service reported.
The district prosecutor’s office sent administrative claims to the court to terminate the right of two local residents to drive vehicles and terminate the validity of their driver’s licenses until they recover and the diagnoses are removed.
The court satisfied the prosecutor’s claims.
