Crimea and Sevastopol have thirteen medals at the boxing championship of the Southern Federal District

medals were won by representatives of the peninsula (Crimea and Sevastopol) at the last 20-20 June in Krasnodar the championship of the Southern Federal District in boxing among men and women.
Our compatriots have 5 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals. Konstantin Lugovskoy from Kerch became the champions of the Southern Federal District among men (weight category — up to 48 kg), Sevastopol resident Dmitry Shipovsky (up to 57 kg), Razmik Khachatryan from Saki region (up to 71 kg) and Pavel Doroshilov from Simferopol (over 92 kg). «Silver» went to Alushta resident Tamerlan Turgunov (over 92 kg), «bronze» went to Simferopol Alexei Khanov (up to 92 kg), Arsen Khalilov from Stary Krym (up to 57 kg), Sevastopol resident Maxim Osin (up to 54 kg) and Evpatorian Denis Potekhin (up to 92 kg) , reports «Crimean Sport».
In the women’s competition, Marya Proskunova from Simferopol took the championship title (up to 57 kg). The silver medalists of the championship were Valeria Ponomareva (up to 25 kg), Roksolana Reuka (up to 54 kg) and Karina Sargsyan (up to 63 kg), all from Sevastopol.
Athletes took part in the championship -40 years (2003-1982 years of birth) from all regions of the Southern Federal District. Men played sets of awards, women — 12.
The competitions had the status of qualifying for the championship of Russia (men — -15 September, Chita; women — 13- October, Krasnodar).
