Employees of the Evpatoria emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» conducted training on eliminating the consequences of man-made emergencies. The event took place at one of the dangerous production facilities of the Republic of Crimea.
According to legend, in the gas boiler room of the enterprise there was a depressurization of gas equipment and a methane leak. As a result, one of the employees found himself in an unbreathable environment and suffered methane vapor poisoning. The plant staff called the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the scene of the incident.
Upon arrival, KRYM-SPAS specialists set up an operational headquarters. Using compressed air devices, we conducted reconnaissance in a room with an unbreathable environment, found a mock victim and evacuated him on a stretcher from the danger zone, after which he was handed over to the medical staff of the institution— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
As a result of the training, the personnel were briefed on primary response measures in an emergency.
