Crimean bakery enterprises increase bread production volumes year after year

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, Andrei Savchuk, announced that over 8 years the bakery enterprises of the republic have increased the volume of production of bread and non-perishable bakery products by 32%. In 2014, enterprises produced almost 50 thousand tons of products, in 2022 — 65.6 thousand tons.

We have more than 50 enterprises working in this direction. The largest, of course, is our JSC Krymhleb, which has branches in almost all big cities. One of them is located in the hero city of Kerch. Several years ago we took part in the All-Russian project “Productivity Leaders”. Branch employees have undergone training. After which they offered to implement a project to freeze products. As a result, an abandoned premises was reconstructed, in which a line for the production of semi-finished puff pastries and the puff pastry itself was installed. All are specialists here, and there are more than 270 of them, with “golden hands.” Now the freezing workshop produces 2.5 tons of products per day. This is many times more than a few years ago. In the confectionery shop, up to 600 kilograms of various cakes are baked daily. This is in addition to bread, loaves and other bakery products,” the press service quotes the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea.

Andrey Savchuk noted that the baking industry is one of the leading industries for the republic, which provides Crimeans and guests of the region with the most important product — bread. In 2022, enterprises working in this direction produced 65.6 thousand tons of bread and non-perishable bakery products, which is 2.7% higher than the level of 2021.

We also support such enterprises. In 2018, as part of the implementation of the state program for the development of agriculture, state support was provided in the form of reimbursement of 30% of direct costs for purchased technological equipment to enterprises that produce food products and process agricultural products. More than 66 million rubles were allocated from the budget so that 18 enterprises could reimburse part of the direct costs incurred for the purchased equipment. 2 manufacturers in the baking industry also received such a subsidy.notes the minister.

Reference: In 2021-2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea provided financial support to bakery enterprises in the form of subsidies — more than 70 million rubles, thanks to which the factories were able to compensate for part of the costs of production and sales of produced and sold bread and bakery products.
