Crimean classic wrestlers won five medals at the Christmas tournament in the Krasnodar region

Crimean wrestlers won five medals at the VI Christmas Greco-Roman wrestling tournament among youths 2009-2011. R. for the prizes of the world and European champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia Stepan Maryanyan. The competition took place on December 22-24 in the village of Dinskaya, Krasnodar Territory.
Our fellow countrymen have four gold and one silver awards. The winners of the tournament in their weight categories were Bekir Bekirov from Stary Krym (up to 35 kg, coach Settar Abdulganiev), Simferopol residents Edem Paiziev (up to 38 kg) and Marlen Kovali (up to 41 kg), both athletes train under the guidance of Sergei Popenkov and Evgeniy Plutitsky , as well as Emil Baizakov from Maryanovka, Krasnogvardeisky district (up to 52 kg, coach — Albert Plishakov). Edem Payziev received a special prize for the best technique at the tournament. In the weight up to 35 kg, Edem Gafarov from Stary Krym (coach – Settar Abdulganiev) took silver.notes «Crimean sport».
In total, more than 270 athletes from different regions of the country took part in the competition.
World wrestling stars — Olympic champion Davit Chakvetadze, world champion Nikita Melnikov, world and European championship medalists Alexander Golovin and Yuri Denisov — held master classes for the children.
