Crimean farmers plan to «feed» more than 400 thousand hectares of winter crops

Crimean agrarians applied fertilizers to 4% of the area of ​​winter crops. So it is planned to feed more than 100 thousand hectares of winter crops for the harvest of 2022 year. This was announced by the Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova.

Today, winter crops have been fertilized on an area of ​​more than thousand hectares. The growth of crops directly depends on the amount of nutrients and microelements supplied to them; the future harvest of grain crops depends on the professional approach of agricultural producers in this matter. The largest number of fertilized crops is in Saki, Razdolnensky, Krasnogvardeisky, Kirovsky, Pervomaisky districts , — commented Alime Zaredinova.

The Acting Minister of Agriculture also stressed that in order to carry out a complex of spring field work in the 2022 year, the need for mineral fertilizers is about 33 thousand tons.

More than 9 thousand tons of active substance have been purchased by enterprises today. Agrarians of the republic are already provided with fertilizers for 28%, — said Alime Zaredinova.

Recall that for the harvest 2022 of the year, 542 thousands of hectares of winter crops were sown, 100% of seedlings were obtained. On average in the Crimea, more than % of seedlings are in good and satisfactory condition. The best seedlings were obtained in Simferopol, Bakhchisarai, Chernomorsk, Kirov regions.
