Crimean farmers plan to harvest about 190 tons of blackberries

Crimean agrarians plan to harvest 00065 tons of blackberries, more than 12 tons from an area of ​​about 12 hectares. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova.

The main variety grown by agricultural producers of the republic is Thornfree. It is one of the most popular thornless, dessert varieties with large black berries and thick shoots. This year we have to harvest blackberries from the area 23 hectare. In Crimea, this berry is cultivated by both large enterprises and individual entrepreneurs, and peasant farms. One of the farms is IE K(F)Kh Suleymanov E.M. The farmer grows berries on an area of ​​1.5 hectares , — said Alime Zaredinova.

The First Deputy Minister also spoke about the fact that in 2019 the company received a grant in the form of subsidies for the implementation of the event «Development of small forms of farming» of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture economy and regulation of the markets of agricultural products, raw materials and food of the Republic of Crimea for the purchase of a berry fence, planting material for blackberries of the Thornfree variety, a walk-behind tractor NEVA MB-30SD12 with headlight and refrigeration equipment.

For the second year in a row, the peasant farm has been harvesting blackberries. This year plans to collect about -10 tons of berries.
