The fact that in the GBUZ RK «Crimean Republican Oncological Clinical Dispensary named after V.M. Efetov, work continues on the modernization of the institution, said the head physician of the medical organization Alexei Filippov.
According to him, the institution has begun a major overhaul of the premises for the installation of another linear accelerator (an apparatus for remote radiation therapy). Heavy equipment will be purchased under the regional program «Fight against oncological diseases» of the national project «Health».
In the corridors of the first floor of the main building of the hospital (building lit. «Z»), major repairs of heating networks, water supply and sewerage have begun. The work is planned to be carried out in stages, without suspending the functioning of the departments. At the moment, the tiled flooring has been dismantled, sewage and water pipes are being installed , the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea notes.
In addition, the institution is arranging a centralized supply of medical gases in the radiology department. Equipment for the production of medical gases has been installed, earthworks are underway to lay pipes for supplying medical gases to the building. In total, over 19% of the work from the established volume has been completed to date.
Funds for repair work in the Crimean Republican Oncological Clinical Dispensary named after V.M. Efetov were allocated under the departmental target program «Modernization of state healthcare institutions in order to bring them up to federal standards and regulations.» The cost of financing is 75,9 million rubles. It is planned to complete the above works before the end 2022 of the year.
