Crimean rescuers and veterans of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received awards

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, presented awards to Crimean rescuers and veterans of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in honor of their professional holiday. As part of the event, participants laid flowers at the monument to the Crimean Firefighters. There was also a video message from the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief, Alexander Kurenkov.
In turn, Sergey Aksyonov congratulated those present on their professional holiday and thanked them for their dedicated work.
The department’s employees fulfill their duty with dignity, the Emergencies Ministry units act clearly, harmoniously and professionally in the most extreme situations. For example, eliminating the consequences of the disaster that hit Crimea at the end of November. Saving people is a noble and honorable mission. Then Sergey Aksyonov presented state awards of the Republic of Crimea: medals “For courage in a fire”, Certificates of Honor from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, insignia “Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea”. Also, awards were presented to the Crimean rescuers by the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea, Arkady Ozhigin, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, and the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Sadakliev.
