A three-component vaccine against measles, rubella and mumps was delivered to Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Let us remind you that residents from different regions of Russia complained to the President’s Direct Line in December about problems with the availability of the measles vaccine locally. There are similar signals in Crimea — a grandfather from Yalta asked for help vaccinating his one-year-old granddaughter.

We immediately got involved in this situation and contacted both the Yalta family and the Crimean Ministry of Health. And now this problem is practically solved— the press service of the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in Crimea quotes Alla Vertinskaya.

The arrival of the vaccine in the region was confirmed by the regional Ministry of Health.

As of today, the problem has been solved; today a batch of the three-component vaccine “Vaktrivir” arrived — measles, rubella, mumps, exactly the vaccine that is necessary for children. These deliveries are federal; according to the national calendar, they entered the Republic of Crimea. By the end of the year, all the vaccine will be distributed to medical institutions in the region. — notes Deputy Minister of Health of Crimea Anton Lyaskovsky.

Representatives of the ministry are in touch with the family; the child will be able to be vaccinated at a convenient time before the end of the year.
