Crimean students helped harvest apples. Worked in the village. Petrovka
CrimeaPRESS reports:
This year, Crimean students made an important contribution to local agriculture by taking part in the apple harvest. After completing vocational training, organized as part of the student labor brigade program, the fighters of the “Agro-profi” student brigade headed to the village. Petrovka, where they became part of the harvest team.
The farming sector regularly faces staff shortages during the season and students play a key role in helping farmers cope with the increased workload.
For us, participation in the harvest is not only an opportunity to gain important professional skills, but also to experience real benefits from our work. We not only learn to work in the field, but also help local farmers in solving an important problem. It was a difficult process, but the teamwork and support of our comrades made it unforgettable. I am proud that I was able to become part of such an important cause for the region., — notes the commander of the student detachment “Agro-profi” of the Crimean regional branch of the Russian North Ossetia, Igor Shmatok.
Agriculture in Crimea traditionally suffers from a labor shortage during the harvest period, and the help of students becomes vital for farmers in the region. The student team program, aimed at developing agricultural competencies, not only gives young people the opportunity to gain practical skills, but also helps support the economy and agro-industrial sector of the peninsula.
