Electronic voting in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation on March 15-17, 2024 will be organized in 29 regions of the country, including Moscow, Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea, the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation reports.

It is proposed to conduct remote voting in 29 regions. About 38 million voters could potentially participate in electronic votingsaid the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, at a meeting on December 20.

In the upcoming elections, online voting will be held in: Karelia, Crimea, Chuvashia, Altai, Kamchatka, Primorsky Territories, Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov, Pskov, Sverdlovsk , Tomsk, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the federal cities of Sevastopol and Moscow.

The elections will take place over three days, from March 15 to 17, 2024. Voters will have the opportunity to vote both in person at the polling station and online.

If a person does not live at his place of registration, he must, starting January 29, register in the Mobile Voter system in order to fill out a ballot in the region where he will be on election days.
