Crimeans from the championship of Russia in freestyle wrestling return with medals

Two medals were won by the Crimeans at the championship of Russia in freestyle wrestling among young men under years. Competitions 23-28 May were held in the capital of Kalmykia — Eliste.
- Simferopol Marat Akhaminov (coaches — Khasanbiy Khatanov and Ignat Grek) became the silver medalist of the championship in the weight category up to 62 kg. Our compatriot went through the rink to the final, but in the decisive battle, unfortunately, he lost to Muhammad Akhmedov from St. Petersburg (6: 10).
- Evpatorian Ali Baragunov took bronze in the category up to 52 kg. In the semi-final, the pupil of Zamir Avamilev and Abakar Abasgadzhiev lost in an equal fight to the future winner in this weight class Abdulmazhid Abdulmajidov from St. Petersburg (1:4), and in the «small final» in the first period he coped with Erik Dzhangaev from North Ossetia-Alania (12:0).
In total, the Crimean national team was represented at the championship by five wrestlers.
The final places of the rest of our guys: Dilyaver Kerimov (Evpatoria, up to 38 kg) — 38-e, Said Seydametov (Bakhchisaray, up to 28 kg) — 29-e, Akhtem Khudainazarov (Bakhchisaray , up to 52 kg) – 10-e.
Sevastopol resident Konstantin Abramov — 23th in weight up to 28 kg.
52 athletes from 45 subjects of the Russian Federation took part in the championship. 12 sets of awards were drawn.
