Cultural and educational cluster in Sevastopol: it is recommended to increase the pace of construction

On August 2, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin, together with the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozzhaev, visited the construction site at Cape Khrustalny. Here, the press service of the Federal Autonomous Institution “Glavgosexpertiza of Russia” reminds, a cultural and educational cluster is being built, the task of creating which Russian President Vladimir Putin set in 2018 year.
On a landscaped area of almost 50 hectares in the center of Sevastopol, in front of Artilleriyskaya and Karantinnaya bays, the Opera and Ballet Theater with a total area 62500 sq. m with two auditoriums, a restaurant for 350 visitors and a terrace overlooking the sea, a choreography academy with a hostel for students and a boarding school for children and an art museum with a depository, multimedia art center, educational and restoration centers. The Glavgosexpertiza of Russia issued conclusions based on the results of consideration of design estimates for the construction of the Opera and Ballet Theater and the Choreographic Academy, and provided consulting services for the construction project of the museum complex. Currently, the construction of the cluster is in full swing.
Completion of construction and installation work on the cultural and educational cluster in Sevastopol is scheduled for December 2023 of the year. Now the task is to resolve the issue of agreeing on the final estimate in connection with the replacement of part of imported building materials with domestic ones, and it will be necessary to increase the pace of construction , — said Marat Khusnullin.
According to him, commissioning work at the cluster facilities is necessary spend during the first quarter 2024 of the year. The Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting in Sevastopol, where he also discussed the improvement of the territory adjacent to the cluster and the construction of local treatment facilities, which are necessary, among other things, to serve the needs of facilities under construction at Cape Khrustalny.
