Day of Russia in Sevastopol: how will the city celebrate the holiday?

On the Day of Russia, 12 June, Sevastopol will host a series of festive events united by the main theme — «We are together — we are Russia.» Residents and guests of the city will be able to participate in a bike ride, as well as watch concert programs of military bands, performances by creative teams and soloists. Namely:

• The program of the Day of Russia starts from the bike festival «Sevastopol bike ride». About a thousand people will gather for a bright sports festival. Everyone over 14 years old is invited to participate in the bike festival, regardless of the level of training. Gathering of participants — at 9: on Nakhimov Square. At the same time, a festive program will begin on the stage, as well as competitions, interactive activities and prize draws for cyclists. At 11: bike ride participants with Nakhimov Square will go along the route: st. Bolshaya Morskaya — st. Gogol — Gen. Ostryakov — shopping center «Ocean» — st. N. Music — st. Lenin — pl. Nakhimov.
• B 11: 45 in In the center of the city, a march parade of military bands will begin as part of the V All-Russian Festival of Military Bands of the Russian National Guard Troops “Always on Guard”. Musical groups will start the procession from Lenin Street, 17 and end their concert program on Nakhimov Square at 11: 45.
• Afterward, a festive event “#WeRussia #WeTogether” will take place on the main stage of the city. From to 22: a marathon of concert performances by military bands and creative teams of the city will be held on Nakhimov Square.
• At 17: the festive concert starts at another venue — in front of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity. The exemplary Russian orchestra «Sadko» will perform on the stage, dedicating its program to the Day of Russia and the Day of the City. : Sevastopol residents will be able to attend the performance of the military band of the Kerch unit of the Russian Guard in front of the tower of the Kornilov bastion of Malakhov Kurgan.
