Delegation from Yalta visited Genichesk

With the Minister of Education of the Kherson region, we discussed cooperation between schools in our regions, providing methodological assistance to our Kherson colleagues, and students of Kherson University undergoing practice in our city. As for culture, we are thinking about cultural exchange, including on Yalta Day we are waiting for a brass band from Genichesk— Renard Kutkovsky, head of education and youth policy of the Yalta city administration, said following the results of the trip.

In turn, the deputy of the Yalta City Council, the head of the city’s teenage and youth center, Elena Kirillova, spoke about the humanitarian aid that was collected by Yalta residents for the evacuated residents of the Kherson region.

Together with the assistant to the head of administration Alexander Kravchenko, the head of the volunteer headquarters «We are together» Karina Bodnya and other activists, they handed over clothes, food, medicine, essentials, including for children and the disabled, provided by caring Yalta residents. And thanks to the socially active entrepreneurs of the city, 45 orphans evacuated to Genichesk received warm clothes, fruits, sweets, toys— said Elena Kirillova.

We are already preparing the next humanitarian cargo! There is a need for basic necessities for orphans (especially girls), toys, sports equipment, including scooters and bicycles. I thank everyone who is with us,” says the head of the administration of Yalta, Yanina Pavlenko.
