Demerdzhi and Novy Svet – over the weekend “CRIMEA-SPAS” provided assistance to injured tourists twice

Weekends are the busiest time for CRIMEA-SPAS. Tourists are drawn away from the beaches towards the Crimean Mountains. For now, the most popular, well-trodden routes are in honour, but accidents happen on them too.
Not far from the Angarsk Pass, towards Mount Demerdzhi, a woman stumbled and was injured. Employees of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» found the victim at the foot of the Elkh-Kaya mountain in the Demerdzhi massif.
Employees of «CRIMEA-SPAS» provided first aid: they immobilized the injured limb. Then, the victim, born in 1959, was evacuated to a company car, after which she was taken to emergency medical personnel for further hospitalization.— reported the emergency department.

Upon arrival, rescuers found the victim near the Chaliapin grotto on the Golitsyn trail.
