Dollar and euro: Crimeans are not very interested in currency fluctuations
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today, 3 out of 10 Crimeans follow the dollar and euro exchange rate.
Representatives of the economically active population from the Crimea took part in the survey of the SuperJob service for finding highly paid jobs. The depreciation of the national currency increased the interest of Crimeans in news from the currency exchange. Today, 3 out of 10 respondents (33%) follow the dollar and euro exchange rate. 49% of citizens do not follow the dynamics. Men watch the position of the ruble more often than women. Interest in the value of American and European currencies grows with the increase in the income level of the respondents— reported in the press service of the service.
By September 1, Crimeans predict a further weakening of the national currency. The people’s forecast for the first time crossed the 100-ruble barrier: 108.19 rubles per dollar and 117.48 rubles per euro (+11% to the rate set by the Central Bank on August 17). Thus, during periods of strengthening of the national currency, citizens predict a further depreciation, during periods of weakening of the ruble (as it is now), the dollar and euro will rise in price.
