Donors of the first and third groups are expected to form blood reserves, as noted at the Sevastopol Blood Center.
Donation is true charity and the greatest gift! The donor does not know the identity of the person he is helping and does not require remuneration or words of gratitude in return. He simply saves human life. Any healthy person can become a donor if he is over 18 years old, has no contraindications to donation, and weighs more than 50 kg. Constant contraindications are the presence of serious diseases, such as infectious and parasitic diseases, cancer, blood diseases and a number of other conditions.
At each visit, the donor undergoes a free medical examination, which includes an appointment with a transfusiologist and preliminary laboratory testing.
