CrimeaPRESS reports:
Over the past week, 4 accidents were registered on the roads of Sevastopol, in which 5 people received various injuries.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate identified 677 administrative violations, including: 38 drivers were intoxicated, 30 drivers drove into the lane intended for oncoming traffic in violation of traffic rules, 142 drivers violated the rules for passing pedestrian crossings.
Since the beginning of 2024, traffic inspectors have identified 107 drivers who drove a vehicle while intoxicated, 9 of which were repeated during the year. Their actions show signs of a crime under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation; 9 criminal cases have been initiated— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that repeated driving while intoxicated within a year is punishable by imprisonment for up to two years.
