During a conditional emergency power outage in the city, at the command of the Sevastopolenergo dispatcher, stationary diesel power plants installed at healthcare, education, heat, water supply, and trade facilities were launched to ensure their functioning in autonomous mode.
In addition, 19 mobile backup power supply sources were used to supply power to social facilities, as well as apartment buildings with elevators and electric stoves.
In order to maximize the provision of electricity to the population during the elimination of a conditional accident in the city’s power system, the headquarters took additional measures:
- reduced electricity consumption by industrial enterprises, individual entrepreneurs and industries;
- objects that have their own autonomous sources were transferred to power supply from stationary backup power plants;
- buses with internal combustion engines are temporarily used on city routes instead of electric transport.
The expected result of the regional training is the readiness of all forces and means to ensure reliable power supply to Sevastopol consumers in the conditions of the upcoming heating season.
