Emin Sefershaev from Simferopol — winner of the international tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling

Master of sports of international class Emin Sefershaev from Simferopol became the winner of the international tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling in memory of the Hero of Russia, Lieutenant General R. V. Kutuzov, who died in 2022 in the zone of a special military operation. Competitions on May 19-21 were held in Suzdal, Vladimir region.
Emin Sefershaev (coach — Sergey Popenkov) excelled in the weight category up to 60 kg. In total, our fellow countryman had three fights: in the quarterfinals he defeated Yernar Fidakhmetov from Kazakhstan (2:0), in the semifinals, according to additional indicators, he was stronger than another representative of Kazakhstan — Doszhan Utepkaliyev (the score of the fight — 3:3), and in the final he confidently figured out with Sergey Chigirev from Krasnodar (8:0)says «Crimean sport».
Master of Sports Mavlud Rizmanov and Master of Sports of International Class Rafael Yunusov, representing Sevastopol, won bronze medals in the categories up to 55 kg and up to 82 kg, respectively.
In total, 137 wrestlers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova took part in the competition. Traditionally, awards were drawn in ten weight categories.
