Employees of GIMS in Sevastopol check the parking bases of small boats

Employees of the GIMS carry out preventive visits to the Sevastopol parking bases for small boats.
The goal is to ensure safety at water bodies. In Sevastopol, employees of the GIMS Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia visit bases for mooring small boats on preventive visits. During the events, explanatory work is carried out with the personnel in order to prevent violations during the operation of such facilities. Advisory assistance is also provided to owners of watercraft. In addition, compliance with safety requirements at the bases-parking lots, equipment and availability of documentation is being assessed, the press service of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in Sevastopol reported.
Within the framework of federal state control (supervision) over the safety of people at water bodies, this work will be continued. By the beginning of the swimming season, which coincides with the beginning of summer, it is planned to make preventive visits to all bases for parking small boats in Sevastopol, approved for operation by the State Inspectorate for Small Boats of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
