Explosive skill: a training session for pyrotechnicians of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took place in Sevastopol

Pyrotechnicians of the Specialized Unit of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the city of Sevastopol took part in training sessions aimed at testing professional skills. Over the course of two days, employees completed practical tasks. The program included tests on first aid for mine-explosive injuries and knowledge of methods for clearing the area of explosive objects. The ability to carry out blasting operations in various ways was also assessed.
The personnel showed good moral and business qualities and high professional practical skills. In addition, there is a theoretical part ahead — tests— notes the head of the Specialized detachment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, colonel of the internal service Nikolai Tiselsky.
Pyrotechnic gatherings at the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the city of Sevastopol are held annually. Traditionally, within their framework, specialists also carry out planned work on the destruction of explosive objects.
The final stage of the practical training was the destruction of explosive objects found in our region — hand grenades, artillery shells and one aircraft bomb. The work proceeded as normal and no damage was caused to the population or infrastructure.— Nikolai Tiselsky sums up.
Based on the results and assessments received, participants in the training camp will receive permission to independently carry out work to clear the area of explosive objects.
