Police are investigating the circumstances of a fatal accident in the Simferopol region. According to the traffic police, the accident happened this morning, at 11:10 on the Simferopol — Dzhankoy highway, near the village of Novoandreevka.
The driver of a Volkswagen car, born in 1988, moving from Dzhankoy in the direction of Simferopol, entered the lane intended for oncoming traffic, as a result of which he collided with a MAZ car driven by the driver. Born in 1973, who was moving in the opposite direction. As a result of a traffic accident, the driver of a Volkswagen car was fatally injured, and the MAZ driver was injured— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Upon the fact of a traffic accident, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Simferopol region are conducting an investigation, the circumstances of the incident are being established.
