Festival of Cossack culture «Crimean tulumbasy» starts on Saturday

On Saturday, August 26, in the village of Frunze, Saki district, a holiday will be held as part of the Interregional Festival of Cossack Culture «Crimean Tulumbasy». According to Tourist portal of Crimeathe program includes master classes, concerts and exhibitions of folk Cossack art.

According to the organizers, the festival «Crimean Tulumbasy» will last until September 5 in the Crimea and Zaporozhye region. Events are planned in Sevastopol, Simferopol, Simferopol region and Melitopol. The main event will be held EXACTLY TOMORROW in the village of Frunze, Saki region. Collectives of Cossack folk art, government officials, cadets, members of Cossack associations, masters of arts and crafts and fine arts will take part in it.

An exhibition of folk Cossack art, a master class on folk crafts and Cossack costume, a parade presentation of the festival participants, and a theatrical reconstruction of the Cossack hut are being prepared for guests. The Crimean Tulumbasy festival will be held for the first time in 2006. Its goal is to preserve and popularize the original Cossack culture, the development of musical, song, dance, festive and ritual and oral folk art, arts and crafts and folk crafts of the Cossacks.
