The festival of Orthodox and patriotic songs, poetry and prose “In the circle of friends” is held by the Sevastopol deanery with the blessing of Metropolitan Lazar of Simferopol and Crimea once a year in Sevastopol and is timed to coincide with the birthday of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, which is celebrated on August 11. The Orthodox and patriotic theme includes the themes of the Motherland, the Orthodox faith, spiritual support for the participants in the special operation in Ukraine, as well as love, nature, philosophical reflections on life, people, faith, the history of Russia and Christianity, songs about saints, heroes, folk songs.
