According to the tactical plan, in the office on the first floor of the building, emergency operation of electrical equipment led to a short circuit. The flame began to spread across the furniture in the room and combustible floor and wall coverings throughout the room. The smoke spread to the second floor.

PSO communications point 2 received a signal that an automatic fire alarm had been activated, and the administration of the institution confirmed a fire in the ward on the first floor. Employees organized the evacuation of patients and medical personnel. It was impossible to extinguish the fire using primary means due to the large amount of smoke.

The units that arrived at the scene of the mock fire conducted reconnaissance, quickly and efficiently deployed fire-fighting equipment and eliminated the mock fire. The conditional victim was rescued by the GDZS team and handed over to emergency medical personnel— they spoke about the progress of the exercises in the emergency department.
