Forum «DobroSTART» brought together one hundred of the best volunteers of Sevastopol

Today in the boarding house «Izumrud» an educational forum for volunteers «DobroSTART» was opened. One hundred of the best volunteers of Sevastopol will learn how to work at major events within three days: they will learn how to interact with participants, the public and experts of various levels, build logistics, develop resettlement schemes.

The program of the forum is very rich. Experts from the Skill training center, the Tavrida art cluster, the Association of Volunteer Centers will work with the participants. They will tell you how to be a volunteer for major events, how to use your volunteer experience for self-realization and develop in any direction. I am sure that the forum will immerse the guys in the world of volunteerism and give them an understanding that doing good is easy , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the department for youth and sports, Marina Slonchenko.

She also told the volunteers about opportunities for self-realization: about the volunteer events platform DOBRO.RU, the Youth of Russia system, regional and all-Russian projects and grant competitions.

For three days, forum participants will have panel discussions on volunteering in modern realities and development opportunities. Representatives of the Volunteering Support Resource Center in Sevastopol will tell you what kind of help you can turn to and how volunteer activities are implemented in the region. Participants will also solve cases on volunteering, work on stress resistance, immerse themselves in the basics of conflictology and learn how to work with information and tasks.

This is the forum where you can understand where to start your journey in volunteering — if we are talking about beginners, or you can improve your skills and become the best version of yourself — if we are talking about experienced volunteers , — says the curator participants Margarita Overchuk.

Recall that the first forum «DobroSTART» — the winning project of the All-Russian competition of youth projects 2021 of the year — was held in April this year on the territory of the camp «Laspi». The Forum is implemented as part of achieving the goals of the regional project «Social Activity» of the national project «Education» with the support of the Department for Youth and Sports.
