From September 1, schools in Sevastopol will introduce a “career guidance minimum”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
This was stated by the Minister of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the Government of the Russian Federation:
The first idea about the world of working professions is laid in school. Basic pre-professional skills are formed. The most important questions are being solved: who to be, what profession you like, more interesting and closer. We will deal with this important issue systematically and comprehensively.— Sergey Kravtsov noted and clarified that from September 1 of the next academic year, a unified career guidance system will be introduced in all schools of the country, starting from the 6th grade.
The head of the Ministry of Education explained that the system will consist of several components. So, together with enterprises, profile pre-professional classes are already opening in schools, a network of medical, pedagogical, space, entrepreneurial, engineering and IT classes has been created.
According to Sergey Kravtsov, 100,000 sets of materials have already been developed, which the teacher can use during classes to visually link the topic of the subject with various professions. Schools will allocate one hour per week for career guidance activities such as testing and project activities.
Career guidance is also devoted to a separate section in terms of educational work. These are excursions to production, thematic exhibitions, open days in colleges and universities.
An active start was given to this direction the day before in Sevastopol. The next stage of the federal project «Ticket to the Future» in the hero city will focus on those professions that are now most in demand on the labor market. According to the regional operator of the Ticket to the Future project, Olga Anistratenko, Sevastopol schoolchildren will be able to try their strengths, talents and skills in the hotel service, the digital economy, the restaurant and agricultural business, the tourism industry, and even in the military-industrial complex.
Together with the teachers, we will show the children and talk about the opportunities that are available for them in Sevastopol— notes Olga Anistratenko.
Reference: «Ticket to the Future» is an all-Russian project on early career guidance for students in grades 6-11 of educational institutions. It is included in the passport of the federal project «Success of every child» within the framework of the national project «Education». The project operator is the Foundation for Humanitarian Projects. In 2022, it will be implemented in the multimedia parks «Russia — My History», on the basis of universities and colleges, as well as on a digital platform https://bvbinfo.ru.
