From Tatarstan to the Kerch Fortress: an expedition of volunteers was carried out

Work continued on clearing and putting in order the territory of the BS-48 coastal battery at Cape Ak-Burun.
In the Kerch Fortress of the East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, another expedition of volunteers from the Republic of Tatarstan was held, timed to coincide with the 81st anniversary of the heroic defense of the fortification during the Great Patriotic War. Members of the Herat Field Mail detachment continued clearing and putting in order the territory of the BS-48 coastal battery at Cape Ak-Burun, clearing the rangefinder pavilion and the adjacent premises of the former ammunition depot, as well as the flight of stairs leading to the depot and part of bottom platform— the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea reported.
After putting the territory in order, the 48th coastal battery is planned to be included in the Ak-Burun excursion route.
