At an operational meeting with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko spoke about the results of the admission campaign to universities.
For university students — and there are almost 4.5 million of them in our country — a new academic year has begun. This year we have 1,236,022 freshmen. Almost all universities started the academic year in a traditional, full-time format— said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, participants of the NWO and their children are enrolled for training.
They came within the framework of a separate quota — about 8.5 thousand people. It is important to note that a number of universities have decided to admit such applicants in excess of the established quota at their own expense.Chernyshenko emphasized.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea is also summing up. According to preliminary data, about 6,500 thousand children are enrolled in higher educational institutions located on the peninsula, and 13,500 people are enrolled in 25 colleges and technical schools.
