Government of Sevastopol: disabled citizens can now receive support from a foster family

The Government of Sevastopol has amended the resolution on the organization of a foster family for the elderly and disabled. Now disabled residents of the city will also be able to receive support from a foster family. The relevant document was adopted at a meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. According to i. about. Director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection Elena Bardakova, a foster family allows disabled, elderly and incapacitated citizens to receive the necessary care at home, and not in a hospital.

Also, by this resolution, we propose to reduce the list of documents that a candidate who has expressed a desire for a foster family must provide. And one more change concerns the amount of remuneration. It was established back in the 2018 year, the amount was 4 thousand rubles and has never been indexed , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the official.

According to the adopted document, the amount of the monthly remuneration for the foster family has been increased to 7.5 thousand rubles. This payment is received by a foster family that cares for the disabled, the elderly and the incapacitated.
