Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev and Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko held a meeting on the development of healthcare in Sevastopol. We discussed the issues of reserves of the Sevastopol healthcare system to improve the demographic situation, problems and solutions in the provision of medical care for cardiovascular diseases, key issues of the oncology service, the implementation of the territorial compulsory health insurance program in Sevastopol and other issues.
Sevastopol shows good dynamics in the development of healthcare: most clinics have been renovated, new medical facilities are being built. There are tasks that are in the process of being solved — in particular, the modernization of primary care, additional configuration of information systems, and disease prevention. Therefore, the country’s leading experts, based on the results of a comprehensive analysis, prepared their recommendations, which will subsequently become the basis of an action plan for the development of the medical industry in Sevastopol— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Murashko.
Specialists from the Russian Ministry of Health have prepared a clear list of step-by-step recommendations on all the issues that we need to solve in Sevastopol. Work is now being completed on the city’s master plan, which also reflects the development of healthcare. The day before, during a working trip, Mikhail Razvozhaev and Mikhail Murashko visited medical institutions in Sevastopol — including the intensive care and surgical departments of city hospital No. 9, the regional vascular center of city hospital No. 1 named after. N.I. Pirogov, and also examined clinic No. 2 on Eroshenko Street after major renovations.
At the regional vascular center, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the work of the anesthesiology and intensive care unit and visited the operating unit. Mikhail Murashko talked with employees of the medical institution.
