In Sevastopol, more than 3 thousand parents receive benefits for child care up to one and a half years old

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Last year, the SFR Branch in Sevastopol assigned 3,900 parents a monthly allowance for child care up to 1.5 years. The regional branch allocated more than 355 million rubles to achieve these goals.

According to the law, not only parents, but also other working relatives of the child who actually care for him can take out paid parental leave. From January 1, 2024, Sevastopol parents have the opportunity to take full-time leave early without losing the right to receive payments— the press service quotes the manager of the SFR Branch for Sevastopol, Elena Gaivoronskaya.

The benefit is paid in the amount of 40% of the employee’s average earnings for two calendar years, but not lower than the minimum amount of this benefit. From February 1, 2024, for working parents it is 9,227 rubles, the maximum is 49,123 rubles.

OSFR in Sevastopol assigns benefits as quickly as possible and makes the first payment within ten days after receiving the necessary information from the employer. Subsequently, the Department transfers the benefit on a single settlement day — the 8th day of the month following the month for which it is paid.

Important! This type of state support can be received simultaneously with a single benefit and payment from maternity capital for up to 3 years for the same child.

If you have questions, you can always contact the single contact center of the SFR Branch in Sevastopol by calling: 8-800-1-00000-1 (free call).
