Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev on the situation with the «deficit» of gasoline at city gas stations
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, in his telegram channel commented on the situation with the provision of the city with fuel as follows:
I see your messages about the situation with gasoline. Some residents complain that at one of the gas station networks they are denied refueling with 95th and 92nd gasoline, referring to the “reserve”, which is released on coupons or fuel cards.
I emphasize: at the moment there is no shortage of fuel in the city. There are slight delays in the delivery of 92-octane gasoline. Gas station chains do have obligations, they must fulfill contracts. Therefore, at some gas stations, situations arise with the reservation of fuel for enterprises responsible, among other things, for the life of the city. As soon as fuel appears, they begin to release it. I instructed Yevgeny Sergeevich Gorlov to work out this situation with tankers: because of commercial contracts, people should not suffer.
The second problem is rising fuel prices. On my instructions, yesterday and today, specialists from the Department of Municipal Economy check the messages received from Sevastopol residents, go to gas stations and fix prices. We transfer all collected data to the territorial office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service. FAS will conduct all necessary checks. In the event that there are signs of violation of the antimonopoly law, antimonopoly response measures will be taken.
As for the rise in food prices, the Department of Consumer Market and Agriculture is currently monitoring daily. To date, a seasonal increase in sugar prices has been recorded. To put it simply, as soon as everyone makes jam, then the price will begin to decline, because demand will fall. This has nothing to do with the situation on the Crimean bridge.
At the moment, the main way to deliver goods to the city is through the «overland» corridor of new regions. The movement of vehicles takes place in working order, but some cars are delayed on the way, the issue of accelerating the process of their movement is under the control of retail chains.
An emergency on the Tavrida highway from 118 km to 130 km does not affect the supply of products to the city.
