Our flag embodies the greatness and glory of the Fatherland, the unity of our multinational people, reminds us of the brilliant victories and colossal achievements of our country, inspires us to new achievements.

This year, three significant dates converged at once: 330 years of the Russian tricolor, 165 years of the flag of the Russian Empire and 100 years of the Red Banner. In June, all three flags were raised simultaneously in St. Petersburg in the presence of the President. This is a symbol of the continuity of our history, the inseparable connection of times and generations.

It is also symbolic that all three flags can be seen on the positions of our units performing tasks in the special military operation zone. The Russian soldier at all times fights for the Motherland and justice.

I wish you all a speedy Victory and new successes in serving Russia — at the front and in the rear!
