Head of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Crimea threatens with punishment for spreading fake news

The publication of fake news threatens with criminal liability. This was warned by the Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea Mikhail Afanasiev, addressing the representatives of the media:

Dear representatives of the media and administrators of Internet publics! We ask you to post only verified information on your resources. In the case of the publication of fakes, you may face criminal liability in accordance with Art. .3 Federal Law dated 27 July 2006 No. 149-FZ «On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection».
