Over the past year, doctors examined more than 3.5 thousand people.
Evpatoria city hospital conducts field events using mobile medical complexes in order to ensure the availability of preventive medical measures for citizens living in remote villages. Alexander Shevtsov, the head physician of the hospital, spoke about this.
According to him, a mobile team of doctors leaves for the villages of Zaozernoye, Ismail-Bey, Mirny and Novoozernoye. The territorial remoteness from the city of some settlements is over 30 kilometers. Previously, it was the remoteness from the city that was the main reason for the refusal of people to undergo medical examination. In recent years, an outreach format has been practiced, thanks to which residents of the villages can undergo a medical examination or the first stage of medical examination without leaving the city polyclinic.
In accordance with the schedule, an equipped mobile medical complex arrives at the outpatient clinic of the village, where residents can undergo fluorography. At the same time, the necessary examinations are carried out on the basis of outpatient clinics: a clinical blood test, a biochemical blood test to determine cholesterol and glucose (all age groups), electrocardiography, eye pressure determination (from 40 years), anthropometry. Women also undergo a gynecological examination , — noted in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
The mobile team for medical examinations includes two general practitioners, a family doctor, an obstetrician or gynecologist, as well as paramedical personnel who provide research and take material for analysis. All these activities are carried out for the timely detection and risk factors for the development of dangerous conditions or diseases, including the detection of diseases of the circulatory system and oncological diseases. It should be noted that earlier identification of these risks affects the effectiveness of the treatment.
