Overhaul of the surgical department of the Simferopol Central Regional Clinical Hospital is 75% completed. This was told by the chief physician of the hospital Yuri Semenov. According to him, in order not to suspend the work of the department and the process of providing medical care, the overhaul is carried out in stages. In one wing of the building, work has already been completed and the entire department is temporarily located here. In the second wing, representatives of the contractor completed the installation of water supply, sewerage, and heating systems.
The interior flooring has been installed, electrical installation and other finishing work is underway, and doors are being installed. Next, the workers will install plumbing equipment, mount a ventilation system, cable lines of a communication network, video surveillance and fire alarms, and complete all finishing work.— said the head physician.
The overhaul of the department is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2023. The work is carried out at the expense of the departmental target program «Modernization of state healthcare institutions in order to bring them up to federal standards and regulations.» The cost of the state contract was over 74 million rubles.
The surgical department is designed for 60 beds. It will create modern, comfortable conditions for providing medical care to residents of the Simferopol region.
