Humanitarian aid from ICC «Artek» was handed over to refugees from the LPR and DPR

A collection of humanitarian aid for refugees from the DPR and LPR took place in Artek. The action was attended by employees of the children’s center. The employees of the Artek International Children’s Center handed over all the collected assistance to representatives of the Good of the World — Volunteers of Crimea charity foundation.

We are very grateful to Artek for the constant support of our charitable projects. Today we are collecting humanitarian aid for refugees. A huge amount of humanitarian aid is sent to the Rostov region, where we are talking about thousands of refugees. We collect everything necessary to provide them with a life. It is important that they feel protected and at home , — said Valeria Petrusevich, head of the charity fund «Good of the World — Volunteers of Crimea».

According to the organizers, the staff of the children’s center actively responded to the call to help. Stationery, baby food, bed and shower supplies, personal hygiene products, clothing and other essentials were brought to the collection point.

By participating in the campaign, Artek employees express support for people who find themselves in a difficult life situation. Artek constantly conducts volunteer actions and helps all those in need. Members of the coordinating center «Volunteers» Artek «visit veterans, visit orphanages and boarding schools.

The International Children’s Center will continue to volunteer and help people in need.
