Hundreds of refugees from the DPR and LPR have already arrived in Crimea and Sevastopol

According to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, more than 500 people from the DPR and LPR who arrived in Crimea have already applied to the social security authorities for financial assistance. Among them, most of them are children up to 18 years, as well as the age category from 18 to 60 years who need employment.

Today, several people in Alushta, Yalta, Feodosia, Kerch applied for education services for their children. Schools were instructed to immediately enroll these children in school or organize distance learning for them if the parent so desires. At the same time, school programs are almost identical. For children who are in the 9th or grade, a program is being developed so that they can pass a certain certification and, if they wish, graduate from school in the Crimea , — said the vice -Prime Minister of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya.

As specified in the regional «Red Cross», over the past 24 hours, a number of 150 evacuated residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics arrived in Crimea.

Refugees from the LPR and DPR arrived in Sevastopol by midday 28 February by bus 387, among them about a hundred children. The issue of their further placement in schools and kindergartens is decided with the Department of Education and Science — they select free places in educational institutions at the place of residence of the refugees.
