In Sevastopol, a conflict on the background of alcohol intoxication ended in a stabbing between a 60-year-old man and his daughter’s girlfriend.
It was established that a 31-year-old local resident, who had previously been convicted of causing grievous bodily harm, drank alcohol in the company of her friend and her father. During the feast, the attacker’s girlfriend drank a fairly large amount of alcohol and went to bed, while the victim continued to drink alcohol with the guest, while discussing various everyday topics. A conflict suddenly arose between drinking companions, as a result of which the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife from the table and stabbed the man in the abdominal cavity, thereby causing serious bodily harm to the latter.— reported the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
A criminal case was initiated against the attacker on the grounds of a crime under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm». The sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years. The suspect has been arrested.
