The exhibition project «In the land of griffins» is presented in Feodosia.

The exhibition project «In the land of griffins» from the fund collection of the East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve is presented at the Feodosiya Museum of Antiquities.

The exhibition presents museum objects dating back to the 6th century BC. BC. — the first centuries AD Among them are unique exhibits from the mound «Three Brothers», discovered on the outskirts of the necropolis of the ancient city of Nymphaeum, the mound «Cement Slobidka-1», discovered during rescue operations during the construction of the Crimean bridge— the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea reports.

Visitors to the exhibition can familiarize themselves with archaeological finds from the Alexander Rocks necropolis, in which earth burials and associated funeral feasts were found, as well as two mounds dating back to the 1st-2nd centuries. AD The found objects vividly illustrate the funeral rites of the inhabitants of the Bosporus kingdom.

The exhibition «In the land of griffins» will run until August 31, 2023.
